(1.Thus far to Q & A 18, we have not invented them as our own theory. What we did was to believe in and accept what God has revealed to us as His holy Gospel, that is, Good News.
- In other words, we just believe what was summarized from God’s Word as the Truth, the special revelation of God. At first God merely spoke and then appeared in various forms and sounds, later let His chosen persons put them into writings. Therefore, all and every one of the letters and words is the special revelation of God, the Good News, and the Word of God for sinners.
In the written Scripture, we find every and all part of it is the Word of God. The God’s Word is not scattered here and there in the Scripture. The whole Scripture is God’s special revelation, God’s Word, and the Truth.
- The Good or Blessed News is the holy Gospel. God personally proclaimed it first in Paradise to sinners who betrayed Him. Genesis 3:15. Later by the patriarchs and the prophets God revealed it progressively and more in detail. The end of such a progressive revelation is the person Jesus of Nazareth, the fulfilled substance of the gospel. Jesus of Nazareth is the real substance of the Gospel itself and the only Son of God.
Therefore, all those ceremonies and those laws about sacrifices were in fact mere shadows to their real substance, Jesus Christ. After the incarnation of Jesus, all these shadowy things had accomplished their role as the pointers to the Christ in human form. Thus, no longer God requires the New Testament Christians to observe these shadowy things strictly. So, they just remain more or less as the mere pointers to Jesus Christ as their real substance
